We arrived at Valdieu the highest point on the Canal du Rhone au Rhine late morning . The skies were clear the temperature in the mid 20’s. The wind was on our nose which is hard on our legs. The weight and size of our panniers slows us down, but the decent was fun. I have never cursed wind like I have in the past few days.  If it were to push us that would be awesome. No such luck!

We arrived in Mulhouse  around 2:30 in the afternoon. Chris T had to take a train back to retrieve his car which was parked back in Montbeliard.
